I am comfortable drawing/painting a wide variety of subject matter. Anything from babies, children, adults, pets, horses, wildlife, flowers, landscapes, etc. I am not intimidated by any subject request. I take a limited number of bookings per year, so please reach out with your request with plenty of time before the busy holidays book up.

A human or pet portrait can vary greatly in cost by the size, medium, number of subjects, background, choice of color/b&w, etc. My prices START at $2 per square inch and go up based on options listed above. Framing and shipping is an additional cost. A good, clear, detailed reference photo is required for a great, detailed result. My contact form on the Home page can be used to contact me for a custom commission quote as well as attach your reference photo for consideration. Please allow at least 2 weeks for completion once work begins. Work begins when the contract is signed and 50% deposit is paid. 

I use top materials that have been tested for archival qualities. Fine art prints will not yellow or fade for at least 100 years. Original acrylic canvas paintings are varnished for longevity and easy cleaning; just wipe with a damp cloth. Pastels and drawings are recommended to be professionally framed with protective museum glass and hung in a low humidity room, not in direct sunlight.

I do not have a space to teach art classes at this time. I will consider private art sessions with 1 or 2 students in the future. Please reach out if you are interested in expanding your skills in realism.
